  20. Why would you want to do something like this? The A3000 built in SCSI 
  21. controller is SCSI-II compliant. Right now I have a Quantum Trailblazer 
  22. 850 drive working just fine in my A3000. Other SCSI-II devices work fine 
  23. with A3000 built in controller. Now notice I said the controller 
  24. supported SCSI-II commands. That doesn't include Fast SCSI. If you're 
  25. looking for this, you will have to either look for an accelerator card 
  26. that comes with a scsi controller (Warp Engine and CyberStorm to mention 
  27. 2) or get your hands on either a FastLane or DKB A4091 SCSI-II Fast 
  28. controllers. Both are Zorro III boards and will work best with Rev 11 
  29. Superbuster. (Actually one of the 2 doesn't even work without the Rev 11 
  30. Buster). Unfortunately, neither of these boards is still in production.

  32. Getting GVP Scsi board would just be a waste of money. It will be Zorro 
  33. II and can not come close to matching the internal A3000 controller. (My 
  34. A3000 can pull around 3.5 megs a sec from the Trailblazer according to 
  35. DiskSpeed.) No Zorro II SCSI controller that I ever heard about could 
  36. match the A3000 controller. So my suggestion would be to either look for 
  37. one of the Zorro III boards I mentioned aboved or just save your money.
